Maggie

This is my latest portrait, Maggie. I painted her sister, Caroline, a couple of years ago so I had to make it the same size - they may hang in the same room. Caroline's portrait had a Spring setting and this one is Fall. I took this picture and, as always, I will post the better photo when I get it.

AFAL at Quinlan

Atlanta Fine Art League has it's members exhibition, Contemplations, at The Quinlan Visual Arts Center in Gainesville now through June 7th. This is a beautiful exhibit with works from 31 artists. Rome Art Coterie National Exhibition

"Italian Still Life with Fruit" is accepted in the 7th Annual Rome Art Coterie National Exhibition. The exhibit will run March 31 through May 1 at the RACA gallery, 248 Broad Street in Rome. The opening reception will be Friday, April 3, at 6 p.m. at the Rome Area Council for the Arts Gallery.Admission to the exhibit and the reception is open to the public and is free. If your in the neighborhood Friday evening please come to the opening. I'm planning to be there.
